By downloading or using the SpeechDone app ("app"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

3. Service Description

SpeechDone is a voice keyboard and companion app for iOS, iPadOS, macOS, and watchOS. It lets you dictate text, translate, rewrite, and ask questions using your voice, directly in any text field via a custom keyboard extension.

The service uses speech recognition and AI text processing, which are subject to inherent limitations. Results may occasionally be inaccurate. Always review dictated text before sending.

4. Free Tier and Pro Subscription

• Free: 2,000 words per week. Includes dictation and basic rewriting.
• Pro: Unlimited words per week, all rewrite modes, translation, and Ask mode. Available as a monthly auto-renewable subscription.

Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID via the App Store. Your subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple ID account settings.

Prices are shown in the app at purchase. Apple handles all billing, payment processing, and refunds in accordance with their own policies.

5. Permitted Use

You may use SpeechDone for personal and professional purposes. You may not:

• Use the app to create content that violates applicable law.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, modify, or interfere with the app or its servers.
• Resell or sublicense access to the service.
• Use automated tools to access the service beyond normal use.

6. Intellectual Property

The SpeechDone app, its design, and all server-side components are owned by via now UG. You retain full ownership of all text content you create using the app.

7. Privacy

How we process your data is described in our Privacy Policy. Audio is processed transiently and not stored. When you are signed in, transcribed texts may be retained temporarily to improve your personal writing style profile, as described in the Privacy Policy.

8. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

SpeechDone is provided "as is." We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or error-free operation. Our liability is limited to cases of intent and gross negligence to the extent permitted by applicable law.

AI-generated text may contain errors. You are responsible for reviewing and deciding whether to use any output. We are not liable for consequences arising from the use of transcribed or rewritten text.

9. Service Changes and Termination

We may modify or discontinue features at any time. We will provide reasonable notice for significant changes. You may stop using the app at any time. We may suspend access if these terms are violated.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by German law. The UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. Material changes will be announced in the app.
